It’s that time of year again. Summer vacations are over and it’s time to get back into the swing of things. It’s easy to get sidetracked as you return to work, school, and extra-curricular activities, and fitness sometimes falls by the wayside. We get it!

Make a Plan

Decide what days and times you’ll work out, and put them on your calendar. Treat your designated gym time like any other appointment on your schedule. This will help you make time for exercise and stay consistent.

Find a Friend to Workout With

A workout partner can help you stay motivated and accountable. Besides, having a workout partner can make exercise more fun!

If no one in your social circle will join you, group exercise classes (or small group training sessions like boot camp) are great ways to meet new people and make new friends.

Set Realistic Goals

Don’t try to do too much too soon. Start small and gradually increase your activity level over time. This will help you avoid injury and burnout.
